Retiring to the Philippines

Pleased to Meet You

I have learned over the past 28 years that expats living in the Philippines all have different agendas and needs. We cannot all be put together in one painting and be painted with the same wide brush! We are all unique individuals and I never met anyone exactly like me.

Some expats have the need to get together with other expats several times every week to be happy living in the Philippines. That is not me but I enjoy getting together with other expats several times every month. It is always fun talking to others, sharing a few cold ones, eating good food and sharing our personal experiences about Life in the Philippines. With that in mind and due to popular demand, I have organized a Retiring to the Philippines Expat Meet-Up and Lunch during the month of May.

Where’s This Shindig?

Since me and all my rowdy friends have settled down once we married and began raising our families, we don’t roar and get wild like we used to in our younger, single days. However, we still know how to have a good time! And a good time it will be!

On Saturday, May 24, at 1130am, you are invited to join Steve and I at Imay’s Restaurant in Bacolod City. Imay’s is located on 6th Street, off Lacson Street. Your wife and children are also very welcome and encouraged to attend, as Imay’s is a family restaurant.

If you would like to learn more and have a discussion about this gathering, please join us on the Retiring to the Philippines Forum and here is the link:

Meetup of RTTP Members and you can also get details on Facebook and confirm your attendance just to give us some ideas of numbers.

I hope to see you there!
